Biography

Fish was born Irving Andrews Fish in Racine, Wisconsin in 1881. In 1903, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He died on April 22, 1948.

Career

Fish joined the Wisconsin National Guard in 1903. He served in the armed forces during the Mexican border dispute in 1916 and 1917. During World War II, Fish served in the Regular Army. Afterwards, he transferred to the United States Army Reserve and in 1927, he returned to the Wisconsin National Guard. During World War II, Fish transferred back to the Regular Army.
