The International School of Central Switzerland (ISOCS) is an international Primary and Secondary School serving students aged 3 to 18 in Kindergarten through Grade 12 in the regions of Zug, Luzern and Zurich. The school is an International Baccalaureate IB World School and has been partially officially approved as a private school by the Canton of Zug.

Accreditation
ISOCS' kindergarten, primary school (Primarstufe 1.-6. Klasse, grade 1-6), lower-secondary school (Sekundarstufe I, grade 7-8) are approved by the bureau for elementary school (Amt für gemeindliche Schulen), administration for education (Bildungsdirektion), canton of Zug.
However ISOCS' upper secondary education (Middle School, High School) is not approved as a Mittelschule, neither by canton of Zug, nor by the Swiss Federal State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).
ISOCS' Kindergarten and primary education programs (Preschool, Primary School) are not approved, neither by the bureau for elementary school (Volksschulamt), administration for education (Bildungsdirektion), canton of Zurich, nor by canton of Lucerne.
ISOCS' lower secondary education (Middle School) is not approved as Sekundarstufe, neither by the bureau for elementary school (Volksschulamt), administration for education (Bildungsdirektion), canton of Zurich, nor by canton of Lucerne.

Location
The school is situated in the town of Cham, which is located on the northern shore of Lake Zug.
Curriculum
The International School of Central Switzerland (ISOCS) is committed to the beliefs and standards of the International Baccalaureate (IB). The International Baccalaureate offers four programmes that have been designed specifically for international schools and international understanding ensuring a continuum of international education. The programmes focus on the academic, social and emotional development of children around the world for application to life.
History
The Primary School was founded in 2008 and opened in August 2009. The Middle School was launched in August 2012. ISOCS became an IB World School in October 2013. The Secondary School was started in August 2014.
Facilities
The school was purpose built in a brand new building complex called Lorzenpark. The local Cham authority provides the school with access to their gymnasiums, swimming pool and four full size soccer pitches.
Integration Program with the host country
The school is committed to make the German host language relevant to its students. The school week is modelled upon the local Swiss school week so that the students are free on Wednesday afternoons to either take part in local Swiss clubs and activities or to join after-school care.
