The International Baccalaureate offers four programmes that have been designed specifically for international schools and international understanding ensuring a continuum of international education. The programmes focus on the academic, social and emotional development of children around the world for application to life.

History

The Primary School was founded in 2008 and opened in August 2009. The Middle School was launched in August 2012. ISOCS became an IB World School in October 2013. The Secondary School was started in August 2014.

Facilities

The school was purpose built in a brand new building complex called Lorzenpark. The local Cham authority provides the school with access to their gymnasiums, swimming pool and four full size soccer pitches.

Integration Program with the host country

The school is committed to make the German host language relevant to its students. The school week is modelled upon the local Swiss school week so that the students are free on Wednesday afternoons to either take part in local Swiss clubs and activities or to join after-school care.
