Institute for the Study of International Migration is a private, research institute located in Washington, DC. Founded in 1998 as part of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, ISIM focuses on all aspects of international migration, including immigration and refugee law, as well as the effects of international migration on social, economic, foreign policy and national security concerns.
