The Institute for Theological Zoology (German: Institut für Theologische Zoologie) is a department of the University of Münster, Germany.

The institute's aim is to place animals and animal-life into a scientifically grounded theological context. The heads of the institute are Rainer Hagencord and Anton Rotzetter, who both have a Catholic theological and biological background. The Institute for Theological Zoology is unique in the world and was founded in December 2009. The institute belongs to the Catholic faculty of the University of Münster.
