After releasing a seven-inch single on Moon Ska Records, and appearing on several compilation albums, including all three volumes of the Oi: Skampilation series, the band signed to New York City record label Radical Records and began extensive East Coast touring. That year they released their first full-length album, The Infamous, which received positive reviews.

In 1997, the band toured nationally with Moon Ska Recording artists The Skoidats.
