Inglorious are a UK-based Hard Rock band. Formed in February 2014, the band is fronted by Nathan James, who sang for a time with Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth. Nathan James had become well known through TV shows 'The Voice' and 'Superstar'. Their success has been particularly assisted by UK digital radio station Planet Rock and they are set to release their new album "II" on the 12th of May 2017.

The band began formation in February 2014, when vocalist Nathan James, who made a name for himself having sung for the multi-platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Scorpions guitar legend Uli Jon Roth, was looking for like-minded musicians that desired to make rock music in a very honest fashion. He joined up with rhythm guitarist Drew Lowe, lead guitarist Andreas Eriksson, bassist Colin Parkinson, and drummer Phil Beaver. Upon signing a record deal to Frontiers Music Srl, Lowe left the band to be replaced by Wil Taylor for the recording of their first album, their self-titled debut, Inglorious, which was released in 2016. The band with help of radio station Planet Rock gathered a large social media following and toured Europe as support act for American comedy hard rock band Steel Panther. After the tour, on the 17th of December 2016, Wil Taylor announced via instagram that he had left the band on December the 13th.

Inglorious's members were primarily inspired by70s hard rock bands such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Bad Company, Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones. Singer Nathan James feels most heavily influenced by Whitesnake singer David Coverdale.
