Ingerana is a genus of frogs in Dicroglossidae family. These frogs are distributed in southeastern Asia, from Nepal, northeastern India, and southwestern China to Indochina, Borneo, and the Philippines. They are sometimes known as the eastern frogs.

Species

With the placement of Ingerana baluensis being enigmatic and several species having been transferred to Limnonectes in 2013 (Ingerana alpina, Ingerana liui, Ingerana medogensis, Ingerana xizangensis), this genus is left with eight species:

Ingerana rajae (Iskandar, Bickford & Arifin, 2011) is now named Alcalus rajae.

  • Ingerana borealis (Annandale, 1912)
  • Ingerana charlesdarwini (Das, 1998)
  • Ingerana mariae (Inger, 1954)
  • Ingerana reticulata (Zhao & Li, 1984)
  • Ingerana sariba (Shelford, 1905)
  • Ingerana tasanae (Smith, 1921)
  • Ingerana tenasserimensis (Sclater, 1892)
