Plot

A scientist Arya in the year 2065 invents a time machine and to prove its capability sends it back in time to 2015. However, the machine is seen by three persons in the past — Elango Vishnu, a young man who is finding it hard to catch a break, his friend Pulivetti Arumugam (Karunakaran) a pretend astrologer, and Giridhara Parthasarathy (T. M. Karthik) an inventor. The three are involved in a minor accident and they witness the time machine appearing out of thin air while they are recovering from the shock. While Parthasarathy plans to keep it to himself, he ends up in a coma and Elango and Arumugam use the machine to further the latters astrology business. They recover things that have been lost by people by going back in time but do so under the guise of astrology. However, during one such excursion into the past, they meddle more than necessary and this prevents the death of Kuzhandaivelu (Sai Ravi), a gangster and extortionist, who is actually targeting Rajarathinam (Jayaprakash), the father of Elangos girlfriend Anu (Mia George). When Elango and Arumugam go back in time to fix their mistake, Kuzhandaivelu accidentally unknowingly shoots the time machine. Elango and Arumugam enlist the help of Parasarathy, who woke up from his coma but doesnt remember anyone but he starts fixing th time machine. After fixing, Parasarathy tells Elango and Arumugam that you cant change the date given on the time machine or the where you will come back to. So Elango and Arumugam decide to not use it. Later on, Kuzhandaivelu ends up trying to kidnap Anu, but fails as Elango and Arumugam take her away in their car. Sadly, Anu gets shot in the head by Kuzhandaivelu and dies. Filled with grief, Elango decides to kill Kuzhandaivelu once and for all using the time machine. But before using it, Kuzhandaivelu finds both Arumugam and Elango and fights with them and they all go back in time. After getting there, Kuzhandaivelu breaks the time machine and then Elango kills him. At the end, Elango and Arumugam decide to stop themselves from finding the time machine in the first place, which luckily was the place they were going to end up in. So they fix everything and end up in Elango and Anus wedding day. It turns out that Arumugam is also happily married. So it is a happy ending. The scientist in 2065 also gets the time machine back, making his machine a success.

Movie received highly positive reviews from viewers. Sci-fi films like these, balanced with proper style and substance will open the doors for many more such wild ideas in the future. Verdict: A well executed sci-fi film by behindwoods and gave 3/5
