Indra J. Adler (born 24 October 1980) is a British actress, writer, singer, and songwriter.

Early life

Indra grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon and spent time living in Lodz, Poland and Paris, France. Her childhood is often described as unusual and bohemian. She attended the award winning Trinity School, later renamed Trinity Catholic Technology College, graduated with a Diploma in Performance from Trinity. Guildhall and also trained in Los Angeles.

Theatre

In 2001, she joined The Bird Of Prey Theatre Company and performed in three productions, most notably receiving critical acclaim for her performance in Jennifer Elvy’s "I Can Only Think Of One Night When I Slept Well".

In 2004, she co-founded and co-owned the critically acclaimed Blame The Space Theatre Company.

In 2006, she played Kate in a production of Pirates of Penzance directed by David Turner. (The Mousetrap).

She has performed in two productions by the award winning Red Ladder Theatre Company, firstly in 2008 playing Mary in Alice Nutter’s Where’s Vietnam? and again in 2009 playing Dylan in Paula B. Stanic’s Monday.

In 2011 she joined The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester in Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge directed by Sarah Frankcom and starring Con O'Neill and Anna Francolini.

Film

In film, Indra has appeared in the short film The Family at the Tip of the Iceberg and Sky High Quality And Looking Great.
