WNBA

Boyette was drafted 10th overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2016 WNBA Draft. In her rookie season, she was ranked 7th in the league in blocks per game and was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team by the end of the season. The Sky finished 18-16 with the number 4 seed in the league. Boyette would become the starting center for the Sky during the playoffs. They received a bye to the second round elimination game, where they defeated the Atlanta Dream, advancing themselves to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, the Sky were defeated by the Los Angeles Sparks 3-1 in the series. Boyette was ranked 3rd in blocks per game and 8th in rebounds per game during the playoffs.

Boyette is married to Texas Longhorns football player Paul Boyette Jr. She is the daughter of former WNBA player Pamela McGee, the younger sister of current NBA player JaVale McGee, and a cousin of NFL player Jarron Gilbert.
