Igor Kolakovic (born (1965-06-04)4 June 1965 in Podgorica) is a Montenegrin male volleyball coach and retired player. He is currently head coaching the Iran national volleyball team.

Igor wife, Sandra, is the coach of the Serbia women's national handball team, and former handball national team player. Igor is Bachelor of business administration, graduated in 1989 of University of Montenegro Faculty of Economics. Aleksa Kolaković son igor, played Saint-Raphael Var handball team.

Career

Kolakovic played as a setter for VC Buducnost Podgorica and Partizan Belgrade from 1979-1997, after which he became head coach of the Podgorica team. From his playing career, he remembers most fondly the two double crowns Yugoslav Championship and Supercup he won with OK Partizan. Igor Kolakovic replaced Ljubomir Travica as coach of the Serbia men’s national team ahead of the 2006 FIVB World Championship, after assisting him for three years. He was the coach of the Serbia national volleyball team from 2006 until 2014. He presentment as coached the team among others at the 2006 FIVB Volleyball World Championship Fourth rank and 2014 FIVB Volleyball World Championship Eighth rank. His remarkable work in 2010 gained a great success in 2010 FIVB Volleyball World Championship scilicet bronze medal for Serbia. He guided Serbia to a gold medal at the 2011 European Volleyball Championship and bronze at the 2013 European Volleyball Championship. He also helped his side Two silver medals 2008 FIVB World League and 2009 FIVB World League and along the bronze medalist in the 2010 FIVB World League. He resigned after eight years as coach of Serbia.At club level, he won the National championship in Serbia and Montenegro in 2002, 2004 and 2006 with OK Budućnost Podgorica as coach. In 2017 year was introduced as head coach of the Iran national volleyball team.
