Idris Arthur Towill (12 November 1909 – September 1988) was a professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Huddersfield, and Keighley as a centre, or stand-off/five-eighth, i.e. number 3 or 4, or 6. He was born in Bridgend district.

Challenge Cup Final appearances

Idris Towill played right-centre, i.e. number 3, and scored a try in Huddersfield's 8-11 defeat by Castleford in the 1935 Challenge Cup Final during the 1934–35 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 4 May 1935, in front of a crowd of 39,000, and played right-centre, i.e. number 3, in Keighley's 5-18 defeat by Widnes in the 1937 Challenge Cup Final during the 1936-37 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 8 May 1937, in front of a crowd of 47,699.
