Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Alhoqail (Arabic إبراهيم بن عبدالرحمن الحقيل] born on February 26, 1970) is a Saudi dermatologist, physician, and founding Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at King Fahd Medical City, Riyadh. FOM-KFMC is now known as King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at King Fahd Medical City. Ibrahim is a consultant in dermatology, and an associate professor of dermatology at King Saud University.

Early life

Ibrahim Alhoqail was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Education

Ibrahim obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at King Saud University in 1994. He then pursued fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He also pursued his Executive Master's degree in Health Administration (EMHA), a unique executive master's program launched by the Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) School of Medicine's Health Administration Program, in cooperation with BJC HealthCare's International Healthcare Services, exclusively for Saudi Arabian physicians and health-care ministry executives, at the Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

Previous appointment

Ibrahim held various positions that include both medical and administrative positions prior to becoming the Founding Dean at KFMC. He was Vice-Dean at the College of Medicine, King Saud University in Qassim branch. He was chairman of the Dermatology Department in 2002 at the College of Medicine in King Saud University-Qassim branch. He was also apopointed as a Vice-Rector of Majmaah University 2010-2013. (Recently he setped down).
