Baggett is a graduate of Durham University, earning a doctorate in political geography. He served in the Royal Navy in Hong Kong and also had a career as a full-time professional tennis player. His first real estate deal was based on a dissertation he wrote in college relating to the best places to buy property. By the time he finished his studies, he owned five properties and was making enough money to support himself as a landlord.
Upon completing his stint in the Royal Navy, Baggett expanded his real estate investments. He founded the Adderstone Group in 1998 and currently serves as the company's CEO.
