IILM College of Engineering and Technology

History

The Institute for Integrated Learning in Management originated in 1993 under the aegis of the Ram Krishan & Sons Charitable Trust. It was set up with the intent to impart education in the field of management.

Programme

CET (College of Engineering & Technology) of IILM AHL is affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and offer the following programs.

B.tech Biotechnology

The Institute provides a Bachelor's in Biotechnology approved by the National Board of Accreditation for its state of the art research facilities, infrastructure and quality education.

Undergraduate-cum-postgraduate dual program

Department of Management also offers five-year full-time MAM (Masters in Applied Management) program [Affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, approved by AICTE]. This program is especially for those students who wish to pursue management education right after 12th.

The duration of the course is five years, spread over ten semesters. This course provides an award of Bachelor’s Degree (BM) at the end of three years, if one wishes to discontinue the studies. If one continues, s/he is awarded Bachelor's degree in Applied Management (BAM) at the end of four years and awarded Master's degree in Applied Management (MAM) at the end of five years.

Masters of Technology

The institute offers M.Tech in Bio-Technology, CAD/CAM and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Master of Business Administrations (MBA)

The institute provides a two-year full-time MBA Program.Students have the option of obtaining an MBA degree with value added courses in Advertising, Branding, Insurance & Risk Management, Marketing of Financial Services, Performance Management, Cross Culture Management, BPO etc.

An indoor cafeteria is on the premises.

Computer Center

The Computer Lab has 210 computers for general student use. All workstations are networked with Internet through dedicated Internet connection. The computer labs are proficient in software such as C, C++, JAVA, Oracle8, Matlab, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual FoxPro, Labview, VHDL, VERILOG and others.

Large spacious reading room, which provides a congenial environment and total concentration for study and research. Vast collection of books, periodicals, national and international journals, review articles on various management related subjects. To develop the right values in students and assist them in overall development, the library has a wide collection of appropriate books on ethics and social issues

To take a nostalgic trip down the memory lane the Alumni Meet, ANUSUMARAN, is organized every year to praise the achievements of alumni in all spheres of life.

Impulse-The Sports Meet

The Institute organises 'IMPULSE-The Sports Meet' every year, where teams from various clubs compete with each other in a healthy competitive environment.

Aaghaaz

Aaghaaz, a humble beginning towards a techno-cultural inter college festival, IILM Academy of Higher Learning, College Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida is its first techno-cultural inter college festival at the college premises. The event focuses on all bright, young & creative minds to come together and showcase their talents by participating in the various techno – cultural events being organized. The event list includes Krazzy Tech(Quiz),Paper Presentation,LAN Gaming,Mind Recycle,Tech Melodrama,Roborace,Admad Show,Dance,Fashion show etc.

Sports clubs

The college has five sports clubs:

IT Club

IT Club conducts Seminars on latest topics like Cloud Computing,Neural Networks,.NET Technology,Java Language,Android,Enterprise Resource Planning etc. The ClubConducting Workshops on topics like Php,Information Security- Hacking and Cracking,.NET Technology,Java. Besides that the Club focuses on Poster Presentation,IT Quizzes- Bujhoo –to- Jaane,Lan Gaming,Digital Rangoli,Web Designing,Guest Lectures.

Community Club

It aims at taking initiatives for improving the health care issues and proving a social service to mankind. Two-3 blood donation camps have been organized at CET IILM by this club and half marathon was also organized at CET CAMPUS by this club.

Robotics Club

B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) students and faculty members have formed this club to develop innovative machineries. NASA ROVER challenge was a key competition faced by this group.

Bhumitra Eco Club

Biotechnology students have formed this club to take initiatives about protection of environment and inculcate awareness in society for environment.

Participation in NASA Annual Great Moon Buggy Race 2014

The students of IILM Engineering College achieved an esteemed international academic success. A team of five meritorious students of Mechanical and Electrical engineering department secured success to develop new vistas in the field of world space academic challenge. The team was invited by NASA, the most prestigious space association of the United States of America to perform on the theme and objective of NASA. Students presented the prototype "Human powered vehicle called "Moon-Baggi" under the title of "NASA rover challenge". Total 97 teams from different countries of Asia and Europe participated in this event and the team of IILM Greater Noida secured the 21st rank. Among Asian countries IILM was on the top and received a trophy in Davidson hall of Marshal space center. Final year students Awatansh Srivastava, Astha Singh, Lalit, Anshu and Brijesh were a part of the IILM team. IILM faculty members and staff provided relentless support to make this event a great success. The faculty members, staff and fellow students are proud of this achievement.

Students' achievements

Sunaina Gera secured 9th position and Sandhya Biswas secured 20th position in TOP TWENTY rank list declared by UP Technical University-2013. This is the consecutive sixth year, students of IILM have placed their names in UPTU rank holders' list.
