I want my mommy atari 2600 review

I Want My Mommy is a video game for the Atari 2600, released exclusively to North America. It is a platform game (then called "climbing games" by the US press) where teleportation beams connect upward on the playing field. Monsters can be faked out by partially going up a teleporter then coming back down again.

Contents

The game was given the KidStuff panel on the cover art; meaning it was aimed at gamers under the age of nine.

Reception

The August/September 1983 issue of Video Games Player called the game "great for little kids, but bad for everyone else."

In 2007, IGN ranked I Want My Mommy as having the ninth best cover art of all time.
