I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse is a 2015 reality TV game show made for BBC Three. It is described as "the toughest reality show on TV" and is presented by Greg James.

The show originally features ten contestants who must survive for seven days in an abandoned shopping centre overrun by zombies set six months after exposure to "5G Wifi". They have to make base, secure food, shelter and safety and complete tasks set by the Army. The key rule is to avoid the zombies at all costs as a slight touch results in death and any exposure to smartphones as they carry the infection. After seven days the Army will airlift any survivors out of the area to a "global tropical quarantine area". During the fourth episode, three new Survivors joined the group. Jordan and Nic arrived on Morning 4, and Natasha arrived on Night 4.
Each episode chronicles events of the day with sporadic intervals from Greg James commenting on the progress of the contestants and a Public Service Announcement from the Preventative Agency for Neurological Transformations and Zombification (P.A.N.T.Z.) advising how to stay alive during the outbreak.
The show was filmed at the Freeport Leisure and Retail Village in West Calder, Scotland.
The Zombies were all trained by ScareScotland a company that specialise in horror actors for film, theatre, events and Television.

Series Summary
Nine survivors arrived at Monroe Shopping Village at the start of the first day, established their barricade and base camp. After initial success in their first mission, another Survivor, Leah, joined the group at the end of the first night. During the fourth day, three new Survivors joined the group with one of them (Tasha) behaving strangely leading the Survivors to be hesitant about her true intentions and potential exposure to the infection which was later confirmed as she turned into a Zombie almost killing two Survivors. During the sixth day a super-Zombie known as Abomination began attacking the group successfully killing two Survivors but was later contained in a freezing unit.
Missions
In each episode, the Army instructs 1 or more Survivors via a Communications Room or through a radio whilst out of base to complete Missions which could potentially lead to those nominated facing the Zombies and risking death. The Survivors either decide as a group or are nominated by the Army to venture out of base. A crossed out name indicates that the Survivor died during the mission. A mission is deemed complete if the primary objective is fulfilled.
As of Day Six, the Survivors have completed 22 out of 24 missions with a total of 7 deaths and 1 zombification.
