The track was released digitally on May 24, 2004 by Arista Records as a promotional tool for the album, which was released on the next day.

The song was re-released on November 4, 2004 as the B-side of album's third single, "Nobody's Home". It was also featured in the film The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, whose soundtrack was released on August 3, 2004.
