History

Hylink Digital Solutions was founded in 1994 by Su Tong, who evolved the company from traditional advertising—such as commercials for TV, newspapers and magazines—exclusively to full-service digital in 2004.

In 2012, Hylink worked with AdMob, a mobile advertising company acquired by Google, to promote the London Olympics by reselling digital ad space to clients such as BMW and SAIC-GM on mobile.

In 2013, Hylink introduced SAIC-GM to Taobao, China's largest online shopping mall. Together, they launched a Buick Regal campaign.

In 2015, Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba, and Sina, four of China's largest tech companies, invested in the planned initial public offering (IPO) of Hylink. Currently, Su owns 78.34 percent equities and some other stakes via the company's wholly owned subsidiary.

In 2014, it established an office in Seoul, South Korea, and in 2016, it created a U.S. office in Los Angeles, California.

Structure

Hylink Digital Solutions employs over 2,000 people, with most of its employees headquartered in Beijing. Hylink has acquired several technology companies to further its efforts in digital services.
