Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel presented this award to producers of Pakistani TV industry, as of first ceremony total of four sitcoms were nominated and currently Danish Nawaz was honored at 1st Hum Awards ceremony 2012 for his sitcom in Extras (The Mango People). How ever Sitcoms are eligible for nomination even if they are still running during nominations announcement.
