Hridith Sudev

Hridith Sudev is an inventor, speaker and an environmentalist. A student in Indian School Salalah in Salalah, Oman; Hridith was the recipient of Oman Energy Globe Awards 2014. He founded the World's larget children's environmental organization, Project GreenWorld International, through a worldwide children's environmental movement initiated by him and his brother, Samved Shaji. Their project won the award for the best project initiated for promoting eco-friendliness in Oman for the 2012 World Environment Day Global School Contest conducted by the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. On 5 June 2014, International Energy Globe Awards, Austria (equated to the Nobel Prize) awarded Hridith Sudev as the 2014 Oman Winner jointly with his organisation's Oman unit. Hridith Sudev by the virtue of being founder of Project Green Oman was selected to receive the Award often dubbed and regarded as 'Nature's Nobel Prize' in honor of his environmental stewardship.

Personal life

Hridith Sudev was born on 27 December 1999 to Dr.Shaji P Sreedhar and Hridhya S Menon. Samved Shaji is his younger brother. In 2012, Hridith Sudev and his younger brother Samved Shaji, both students of Indian School Salalah, founded Project GreenWorld International under the school eco-club and Social science department which went on to win the World Environment Day Global School Award 2012 and Energy Globe Award 2014.
