Hridayesh Tripathi (Nepali: हृदयेश त्रिपाठी) is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP). In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election he was elected from the Nawalparasi-6 constituency, winning 10029 votes defeating his closest rival NC’s Debkaran Kalawar. Kalawar received 9,856 votes while another opponent UCPN-Maoist’s Rahit Prasad Kewat received 5,749 votes. He along with Mahantha Thakur, formed a new political party the Tarai Madhes Democratic Party in the wake of Madhes Andolan.
