Honna Station (本名駅, Honna-eki) is a railway station on the Tadami Line in Kaneyama, Ōnuma District, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Station layout

Honna Station has a single side platform, which is very short and which can service trains of only one carriage in length. The station is unattended.

History

Honna Station opened on February 1, 1965. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987. Due to damage caused by torrential rains on July 30, 2011, services between Aizu-Kawaguchi Station and Tadami Station have been replaced by a provisional bus service.
