Damar Core, better known by his stage name Hona Costello, is an American, rapper, producer, and singer from Chicago, Illinois. Following the success of his debut mixtape "Follow me", he was featured on Music Connection top prospects of 2012. In October, 2014, he produced Dej Loaf single On My Own on her debut mixtape Sell Sole.

Early Life and Career

Hona Costello was born in Blue Island, IL. Costello dropped his first CD "Paradise" at a young age, but what gained him fame was his 2011 mixtape entitled "Follow Me." The mixtape was downloaded more than 20,000 times and made "The Journey Through Law School's" Top 50 Albums of 2011 list. From Sauk Village, IL he moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2011 to pursue his dreams.

In 2012 Hona Costello released the critically acclaimed single, High labeled “the best damn smoking song I’ve heard in a minute”. In 2015, Costello help launch music festival No Major, No Problem for independent artists. He also signed a deal with The Administration MP.

Hona Costello is part of a supergroup called Surreal Gang with Ramaj Eroc and others.
