The Antibody Titer Law ( Holly's Law ) (NJSA 26:2N-8-11), passed on January 14, 2004. The law gives parents a choice before they consent to a second dose of measles, mumps and rubella vaccine. A Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) should be provided to the parents each time a vaccine is given. Holly's Law, NJ Chapter 257. C.26:2N-9b; " Documented laboratory evidence of immunity from MMR shall exempt a child from further vaccination for MMR, as may be required pursuant to Department of Health and Senior Services regulations."

In addition, a Federal legislation, also named Holly's Law, was named after Holly Patterson, an 18-year-old woman who was believed to have been the third woman in the United States who died after taking Mifepristone (also called RU-486). She died shortly after following the mifepristone dose with a vaginal dose of misoprostol.

Not to be confused with laws proposed after the sexual assault and murder of Holly Jones by Michael Briere.

This totally separate Holly's Law was a proposed law which would have banned mifepristone in the United States. The ostensible reason was concern over the drug's safety, though much of the support for the measure has come from pro-life groups that oppose the drug on principle.
