It was released on July 24, 2010 in the United States and was released in the United Kingdom on November 7, 2010. The song peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 16 on the UK Singles Chart and number 69 on the Canadian Hot 100.
In June 2013 the song was certified Gold in the United States by the RIAA after achieving sales of 500,000.

The official remix for the song features rapper Nicki Minaj It spent 29 weeks on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and 15 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
