Hoşyar İkinci Kadınefendi (1825–1849) was a Georgian wife of Sultan Abdülmecid I.

Early years

Hoşyar İkinci Kadınefendi was born in 1825, in Zugdidi, Russian Empire (present-day Georgia). Her father was Georgian Zurab Tuskia. She had a sister named Nobrah Han (d. 1897) who became the Third Hazinedar. She was the most beloved wife of Sultan Abdülmecid I,and the Sultan planned to legally marry her.Unfortunately,she died at a young age because she got infected with Tuberculosis,and it's stated that the Sultan was very sad when she died.

Death

Hoşyar died reportedly of tuberculosis in 1849, at the age of 24, and was buried in Istanbul.
