The Historical Table of the Copa Sudamericana is a cumulative record of all match results, points and goals of every team that has played in the Copa Sudamericana since its inception in 2002. The table that follows is accurate as of the end of the 2016 season. A 3-point value per match won was determined to draw this table.

Atlético Nacional leads the table with 99 points, and has played a record 56 matches with LDU Quito. Libertad have the most appearances, with 12. Boca Juniors is the most successful club of the tournament, with two titles.

Atletico Nacional claims the record with the most wins (28), São Paulo with the most draws (17) and Libertad with the most losses (21). LDU Quito also possesses the record for most goals scored on the competition with 89, while claiming the dubious record of most goals conceded with 66. San Lorenzo has the best goal difference in the history of the competition with a mark of 27.
