Highcrown seahorse hippocampus procerus in gold coast seaway qld australia 25 july 2010
Hippocampus procerus, the high-crown seahorse, was described in 2001 and is found on the east coast of Australia. It is a relatively large seahorse with a maximum reported height of 11 cm and is often found associated with mixed algae and coral reef at depths of up to 20m.
