Harriet Jessica P "Hetti" Bywater (born 10 September 1994) is an English actress best known for playing Lucy Beale in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

Early life
Bywater was born in Reigate, Surrey to parents originally from Swansea, Wales. She studied performing arts at The Theatre Workshop in Sussex.
Acting career
Bywater began her career in 2011, making guest appearances in Casualty and Doctors. She also starred in the St George's Day film in the same year.
Bywater's most notable role was in EastEnders in 2012 as Lucy Beale, taking over from Melissa Suffield who played the role from 2004 to 2010.[4]
On 21 February 2014, it was announced that Lucy would be murdered, starting a dark chapter for the Beale family and a whodunnit storyline that would run until the show's 30th anniversary in February 2015 when the identity of the murderer would be revealed. Bywater made her final appearance as a series regular on 18 April 2014 with a re-appearance for a flashback and the soap's live episode in 2015.
In 2015, Bywater guest-starred in the fourth series of Death in Paradise.
In late 2016, Bywater guest starred in two episodes of the first series of Sky 1's Delicious.
