Henry Plater-Zyberk is a senior analyst of the Conflict Studies Research Centre formerly at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. He is a Sovietologist and a specialist in Russia and Central Asia.
Plater-Zyberk has published more than 20 works in his field of expertise, and given interviews for Reuters, Agentura.ru and Ferghana.ru. He is the editor of the limited subscription professional publications "Russian Defence and Security Review" and "Ukrainian Defence and Security Review".
During his career with the Ministry of Defence (United Kingdom), Plater-Zyberk published on sensitive security issues under the pseudonym of Gordon Bennett.
