Hendricks Day School is an American private school in Jacksonville, Florida that is due to close in June 2015. The school serves students from PK3-8th grade. The school was founded in 1970, and is the only non-high school in the city to hold four major school accreditations, including those from the Southern Associations of Independent Schools, the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Florida Kindergarten Council and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. As of 2014, the school became the first private school in Jacksonville to have a full STEAM lab on campus.

Academics
Instruction at Hendricks is centered on the Habits of The Mind, as developed by Dr. Arthur Costa. Children are taught to apply these habits to every problem they encounter inside and outside the classroom.
In 2014, the school opened a STEAM lab to encourage children to learn more about science and the art. Through a partnership with Duval County Public Schools, the students of Hogan-Spring Glen Elementary School are also able to use the lab for science classes.
