Geographic range

It is found in Armenia, Cyprus, northeast of Egypt, Greece (in the Aegean islands including Kalymnos, Kos or Lipsi), northern Iraq, northeast of Iran, northern and central Israel, Jordan, eastern Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Russia, North Caucasus, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey (in its Asian portion).
Description

Up to meter and a half in length. The snake is not venomous. The color brown bright spots on its back in the form of coins (hence the name). A similar-looking external appearance of the viper is sometimes confused them, but you can notice some differences:
