Plot

The French Resistance novelist Domenic Danges returns unexpectedly to find a Swedish girl Valerie, posing as his widow. She has also published a novel under his name, which is now a bestseller. A love triangle develops when a fellow prisoner falls in love with Valerie. A woman who publishes a book under the name of a man believed to be long dead.
