Heliconius hermathena, the Hermathena longwing, is a species of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is endemic to white sand areas of the Amazon basin.

Etymology

Hermathena is a herm of Athena, a composite form of the Greek gods Hermes and Athena.
