Faculty

HTS currently has two Resident Faculty. Rev. Maynard Koerner, who is a longtime minister in the Reformed Church in the United States, and Rev. Dr. Robert Grossmann, who is currently the pastor of Providence Reformed Church in Vermillion, South Dakota as well as former professor at Mid-America Reformed Seminary and Whitefield Theological Seminary. History

HTS started in 2001 as an unaccredited Reformed seminary in a part of the country that already has an accredited seminary (Sioux Falls Seminary-a North American Baptist Seminary). The seminary settled in Vermillion, SD and owned a building in the city until 2010 when it moved to Sioux Falls, SD. It now inhabits part of the RCUS church building in Sioux Falls. The first graduating class was in 2006, and consisted of two men. One went in the Reformed Church in the United States and the other joined the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
