Hear No Evil is a 1993 thriller film about a deaf woman who falls foul of a corrupt police officer looking for a stolen coin that has been hidden in the womans pager. The film stars Marlee Matlin, D. B. Sweeney, and Martin Sheen. It was released by 20th Century Fox on March 26, 1993. Matlin and Sheen would later co-star in The West Wing.
Jillian Shanahan, a deaf woman, becomes the target of a ruthless and corrupt cop. The cop is looking for a stolen coin, which he plans to keep for himself. A journalist briefly acquires the coin and hides it in Jillian's apartment, then his car explodes, now the cop is after her.
