Acquisitions
HealthKart acquired online fitness and bodybuilding community and supplement store MadeInHealth in 2012, the acquisition was made towards the expansion of Fitness, Weight gain, Weight loss etc categories further in the e-health space.
HealthKart App
HealthKart has its smartphone application for Android, iOS and Windows devices. The Healthkart Android App has around 500000 downloads as on August 22, 2016.
Fundings
HealthKart began in 2011 with an initial capital of $1 million from Kae Capital and Sequoia Capital. It went on to raise another $7.5 million from the same along with Omidyar Network. HealthKart's Series B funding resulted in funds worth $14 million from Intel Capital and Sequoia Capital in June 2013. Healthkart also participated in undisclosed funding rounds C & D. In Aug 2016, HealthKart's Series E funding resulted in funds worth $12 million by Sequoia Capital.
