Reception

Erykah Badu paid tribute to the album in the music video of her single "Honey". "Evil" was sampled by Amerie on the track "Can We Go" on her 2005 album Touch. "Keep Your Head to the Sky" was sampled by Jay-Z on the 1994 track "Reach The Top", and also by Kirk Franklin on the track "Keep Your Head" from his album Hero.
