Analysis

One of the most famous artists of Luxembourg in the first half of the 20th century is expressionist Joseph Kutter. From 1927, he is one of the significant names of the Luxembourg Secession.

The human figures are central to his work through them express humanity and himself. Able to combine different artistic influences of his time. Clowns appear in his works in 1935, as a result of their participation in the variety show in Luxembourg.
