Hassan Hayat Khan is a Pakistani, Karachi based singer who sings in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.

Early life

Hassan grew up in Karachi. His parents are from Pakistan. He had a passion for music from his school life where Hassan use to sing with friends and in schools event then after doing his graduation he felt that he should in some manner pursue the musical career.

Career

It was very tough for Hassan to whether join his music journey or leave it forever as coming from a family that didn't support the industry. He finished his Bachelors from Karachi & went to Australia for his Master degree. He returned to Pakistan with a plan to stick to his dream & soon he was producing music commercially. He has produced more than 8 commercial tracks for the TV industry & sung in half of them. His first single was "Beqadraa" which got a massive response from the audience and it was aired on all major music channels of Pakistan including Ary Music, 8xm, Hum Tv and many other leading channels in the list.

For his debut single he worked hard and joined hands with a music producer, Ahsan Pervez Mehdi who had already worked with mainstream artists like Atif Aslam, Amanat Ali, Salim Sulaiman, Raftaar , Arslan Sheraz , Manj Musik, Abida Parveen etc

Influences and favourite musicians

His greatest musical influences have been M. Rafi, Sajjad Ali, Strings, and the legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. His western influences are Michael Jackson, Sam Smith & Maroon 5

Musical style and vocals

Hassan's music is universal although inspired from Lollywood and Bollywood. His debut single "Beqadraa" has an Acoustic genre and his upcoming album will include Dance, Ambient Lounge and Sufi Rock as well.

Achievements

He was featured in Aise To Na Ja which is an eid show of Hum TV. He is the only singer to cover the legend Ustaad Mehdi Hassan for a commercial OSTs. He became the only singer to be the producer of 5 OSTs of the top Dramas being run in Pakistan.
