Education
Hasmukh Adhia is a PhD in yoga from Swami Vivekanand Yoga University in Bangalore, and is a Gold medalist in Post Graduate Programme in Public Management and Policy (PGP-PMP) from IIM Bangalore. He also has M.Com and B.Com degrees from Gujarat University.
Career
Hasmukh Adhia has served in various key positions for both Gujarat and Union government, such as Additional Chief Secretary (Finance), Principal Secretary (Education), Principal Secretary (Transport), Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Gujarat, Executive Director of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam, Managing Director of Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation (GIIC), and as the District Magistrate and Collector of Bhavnagar and Surat districts in Gujarat Government, and as Union Revenue Secretary and Union Financial Services Secretary, in the Union Government. Adhia was also a Consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIODO).
