Harunur Rashed (1948 - 7 November 1971) was a freedom fighter during the Bangladesh Liberation War. The Government of Bangladesh has given several awards to him for his bravery, including Bir Protik.

Born and family

Harun's ancestral home village is Rangiarpota in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila of Khulna Division in western Bangladesh. His father's name is Amod Ali Mondol and his mother's name is Biraj Khatun.

Career

He was associated with the politics of the country. He was only 23 years old when he went to war, and this time he studies his father's business, as well as to collaborate.
