Biography

Harshit was born on 18 November 2008 to Rajeev Neetu Saumitra. He is a Grade 1 student of G D Goenka Public School. Harshit embarked on his trekking journey at the tender age of three. On October 17, 2014, he successfully trekked to Everest Base Camp, situated at an altitude of 17,650 feet. The following day, on October 18, 2014, he ascended to the summit of Kala Patthar Peak, which stands at 18,519 feet, earning the distinction of being the youngest individual to reach this height. Harshit was accompanied by his father Rajeev Saumitra along with two guides during his trekking.
