Harry Crane Perrin (1865–1953) was an cathedral organist, who served at Canterbury Cathedral.

Background

Harry Crane Perrin was born in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire in 1865.

He composed cantatas "Abode of Worship" and "Pan's Pipes", morning and evening services, anthems and songs.

After an early career as a cathedral organist in England, he moved to Canada in 1908 to become professor of music at McGill University in Montreal and director of the Conservatorium. In 1920 a Faculty of Music was established at the university.
