Henry Harrison Russell was an American college basketball and American football coach. He was the eighth head football coach for the Illinois State Redbirds in Normal, Illinois, holding that position for ten seasons, from 1912 until 1922. His overall coaching record at ISU was 15 wins, 43 losses and 10 ties. This ranks him ninth at ISU in terms of total wins and 16th at ISU in terms of winning percentage.

He later taught geography at Clark University and Bloomsburg State Teacher's College.
