Harikumar Krishnamoorthy (born 3 January 1989), better known as K. Hari Kumar, is an Indian novelist born in Cochin and brought up in the suburbs of Gurgaon. He did his schooling from DAV Public School, Gurgaon. His first book When Strangers Meet was published in 2013, followed by That Frequent Visitor (2015) and A Game of Gods (2016). He has been featured as one of the most influential authors on social media.

Personal Life

Harikumar Krishnamoorthy was born on 3 January 1989 in Tripunithura, Kerala, but grew up in Gurgaon, Haryana. After completing his engineering, he started making documentaries and short films with friends. In 2010, he fell critically ill and that's when he finished writing his first book's manuscript. After facing rejection from many publishers, the book finally came out as When Strangers Meet in 2013 under Srishti Publishers. The book is the story of three strangers who meet in a metro station and how each one of them influences the other to bring about a change in their lives. The book is partially based on real incidents and the author's own life. In 2015, Hari Kumar's second book That Frequent Visitor was published. The book was a tribute to the Delhi anti-rape protests.
