History and Location

Harbour.Space was founded on December 15, 2015 by Svetlana Velikanova and Ingo Beyer von Morgenstern. It opened its doors in July 2016, with its first academic year beginning in September 2016. The Harbour.Space campus is located in the OneOcean marina in Barcelona’s Port Vell.

Academics

The university offers degrees in six areas of study: computer science, data science, cyber security, interaction design, digital marketing and high-tech entrepreneurship. The school’s partners include technology companies Kaspersky Lab and Yandex.

Harbour.Space's programs are taught in English to up to 200 undergraduate, graduate and professional students per year. Instructors with current careers in the technology industry from Germany, Russia and United States lead the courses. Founding instructors include entrpreneur Kamran Elahian, chairman of venture capital firm Global Catalyst Partners.
