Happyton Bonyongwe is the director general of the Zimbabwean government intelligence agency, the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO). He is a retired Brigadier in the Zimbabwe National Army. He reports directly to president Robert Mugabe, bypassing the Minister for Security Kembo Mohadi
