Hantz Farms
The Hantz Farms division is working to develop Hantz Woodlands, an urban farm in Detroit, with the purchase of a blighted area of mostly abandoned homes to be razed to make way for the park. Cash would be paid for the property, the city's maintenance costs would be reduced, and the area would be cleaned up and planted with hardwood trees. It would be the largest urban farm in the U.S.
